Engagement Manager (CRM & Lifecycle)

About the job

As an Engagement Manager you are responsible for building and maintaining best-in-class user engagement across channels. You’re the first person in this team and will help us lay the strategic and operational foundation for the future. You will work closely with product, analytics and comms to understand our users and develop strategies to increase retention and engagement.


What you will do

  • You help us choose, implement and configure the best tooling for continuous customer communication to drive user engagement (e.g. Braze or similar)
  • You will help us understand funnels, ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends in the adoption of our products to identify opportunities increase retention and minimize churn
  • You will use data and research to define sub segments of our users, understand what makes users stick and use these insights to continuously improve the engagement of our users with the product
  • You'll implement and measure A/B testing activities to constantly improve the effectiveness and refresh best practices
  • You'l report on performance and provide regular post-mortems to improve ongoing engagement activities and inform future business decisions


Job requirements

Your background

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a Growth Marketing or CRM role ideally in a SaaS or Startup environment
  • You are experienced in working with CRM tools such as Hubspot, Clevertap, Braze or another comparable platform
  • Customer data and segmentation models are not a novelty for you
  • You have very good knowledge of the conception and design of target-group specific and cross-channel campaigns
  • You are comfortable in dealing with tracking and analysis tools (Google Analytics, Segment, Mixpanel etc.) both handling and producing insights
  • You have a deep understanding of how CRM fits into the overall growth model and how it can be leveraged at different stages to drive sustainable growth
  • You are a great communicator and collaborator and are comfortable with dealing with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on to build up a strong fundament and team around you
  • You are highly motivated to shape and build a product that will be used by yourself and millions of others every day
  • Experience in working in a remote-first environment on a distributed team is a huge plus
  • Being based in the CET timezone is a plus
